Dave Evans has been photography the beauty of nature since he was a young man. As an amateur, capturing the depth of contrast in images on film was challenging. Today he embraces learning new techniques in digital imagery and post processing technologies to effectively showcase the beauty of this world.
Dave has lived in Ontario, the heart of Canada's industrial revolution, all his life. He spent the first part of his career working in the trades, fueling the very industry that has led to the disengagement of man and his environment. He has come to realize that the same technology driving our society is showing signs of its impact on our fragile ecosystem. The earth's resources are strained to their anticipated limits. Disease rates are art levels never recorded before.
We are all created with a purpose. Dave's mission is to bring awareness to the division that leads us away from our creator's plan. He was led to this purpose after surviving a cancer diagnosis in 2012. Given the choice between man's technology and the body's innate ability to restore health, he has chose to follow alternative sources of healing.
With a focus of shinning light on the essence of humanity, his detailed impressions are designed to be thought provoking. "A picture is worth a thousand words." is an English idiom. It refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single image. A single portrayal of a subject conveys its meaning or essence more effectively than a description.
Dave's passion is working with charitable organizations that support humanity in its origins. He believes nurturing the organic world around us will fuel the desire to return to our roots and preserve our necessary resources.
